James T. Lynn
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

James T. Lynn joined PLATO Learning in May 2005 as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. His primary responsibility is to analyze trends and utilize best practices to develop technologies that will make PLATO Learning the recognized industry leader of K–adult educational software.

Most recently, Lynn was the Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin where he managed advanced technology research programs and initiatives. From 2001–03, he was the Vice President of Technology at Pearson Digital Learning where he oversaw the development of application software for the K–12 education market and was the driving force behind improved product quality. Over his 25 years of leadership experience, he has held senior engineering positions with ID Certify, Motorola, and Group Technologies Corp. (formerly Honeywell DCPD).

Lynn is a graduate of the University of South Florida-Tampa where he earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering.
