Title IV: Community Learning for the 21st Century
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants are used to provide a wide array of educational services, including technology education. This funding opportunity will help create community learning centers that will:
- Provide students, especially those from low-performing schools, with academic enrichment opportunities that meet state and local standards in core academic subjects
- Offer additional activities that complement students' regular academic programs
- Provide the families of the students with literacy and other educational development programs
- Feature a range of services to support student development, including tutoring, mentoring, and homework help
The key to a successful learning center is being able to deliver effective individualized instruction. PLATO Learning can provide a complete, integrated solution that will let you create a challenging, engaging learning facility that will be a significant asset in your community.
